“It was a sweet night for the seniors to go out at home with the win and secure the conference championship for Conway,” said coach Laura Crow.
Conway tied North Little Rock for the regular-season title but the Lady Cats received the No. 1 seed for the 7A state tournament on the tiebreaker.
Conway has a first-rlound bye and will play Rogers or Mount St. Mary at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Springdale Har-Ber.
In the Lady Cats won the JV match, 25-8, 25-14 to finish 16-4, 13-1.
Karli Ferguson had three kills and Matti Fairchild, four aces. Blaklee Scott had seven digs. Madison Lovell added seven assists and Madison Bates, five.
