Cats make it a sweep over Catholic/MSM

Asiyha Smith added 12. Savannah Lowe had 12 and Jacie Higgins 11. Mayflower At Little Rock, Mayflower ‘ssenior high girls defeated Pulaski Robinson, 61-55. Leading scorers for Mayflower were Tori Lasker with 26 points, Tristen Lasker with 15 points, and Alexis Letson with 11 points. St. Joseph St. Joseph’s senior boys prevailed in double-overtime, 50-47, in a back-and-forth contest with Nemo Vista on Tuesday night at the St. Joseph Family Activity Center. The game was tied at 46, both at the end of regulation and the first overtime. Jacob Welter led the Bulldogs with 17 points, five rebounds and three assists. Daniel Lee Kordsmeier added 12 points. Other leaders were: Spencer Pope, six points; David Beck, five points, five rebounds; Jack Briggler, five rebounds four assists; Triple Williams, five points, five rebounds; Zach Martins, three steals. Nemo Vista’s senior girls won, 49-35. Amber Briggler scored 13 for St. Joseph. Piper Mullaney added seven points and three rebounds. Joanie Elsinger and Brianna Wells also had three rebounds. Erin Sterka and Rachel Prall had four assists. St. Joseph’s junior boys won, 42-26. Ryan Davis scored seven points and pulled down five rebounds. Luke Bruich had seven points, four rebounds and three assists. Other leaders were: John McKenna, six points, six rebounds, two assists; Hunter Williams, five points; Caleb Hiegel, four points, three assists, two steals; Christian Skinner, four points, two assists and three steals. Ruth Doyle Ruth Doyle Middle School’s seventh-grade girls defeated Ray Simon, 15-13. The B team won, 8-0. Karsen Roach led all scorers with nine points. Shelsea Clark had three , while Lauren Hill, Sarah Grace Adams, Madison Achan, Alyssa Battle, and Jada Brockman, all had two points. Mary Grace Matthews had one.
